Terms & Conditions
Last revised 2026.01.14
These terms govern your use of hrtraining101.com (the “site”) and your enrollment in continuing-education programs offered by HR Training 101, LLC (“HRT,” “the school,” or “we”). By using the site or enrolling in a program, you agree to these terms. The course-specific enrollment confirmation you receive controls in any conflict.
Use of the site
The site is provided for general informational purposes and to support program enrollment, the Learning Management System, and the Field Notes bulletin. Material on the site is not legal, tax, or HR advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice tailored to a specific situation. Regulation changes; the site is updated as the school sees fit.
What HRT does — and does not
HRT is a continuing-education company. We teach. We hold ourselves out as senior HR practitioners and as employment-law and total-rewards specialists; we do not hold ourselves out as your lawyer, your tax advisor, or your accountant. Where a question requires legal counsel, we will say so plainly and recommend that you engage counsel of your choosing.
Enrollment, tuition, and refunds
Enrollment in a live cohort opens four weeks before the cohort begins and closes when the seats are filled. Tuition is due in full at the time of enrollment. The following refund policy applies to individual enrollments; corporate engagements are governed by their own statements of work.
- Before the first session: full refund, less a $40 administrative fee.
- During the first week: 75% refund.
- After the first week and before the midpoint: 50% refund.
- After the midpoint: no refund. Students may, at our discretion, transfer their seat to a future cohort once, subject to availability.
Continuing-education credit
HRT is registered as a SHRM Recertification Provider and an HRCI Approved Provider. Credit is awarded only to students who complete the requirements published in the syllabus for that program. Certificates of completion are issued electronically within ten business days of completion and are reported directly to SHRM or HRCI where the program qualifies for automatic credit.
HRT does not guarantee that any particular continuing-education credit will be accepted by an employer, certification board, or state regulatory authority other than the bodies named on the program page. Students are responsible for confirming the suitability of a program for their own credentialing requirements before enrollment.
Examination preparation
HRT publishes preparation programs for the SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, and SPHR examinations. HRT is not SHRM, is not HRCI, and is not affiliated with either body. References to the SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, and SPHR examinations are made nominatively and only for the purpose of describing the preparation curriculum.
Intellectual property
Course materials, recordings, examinations, and the curriculum itself are owned by HRT or used under license. Students may reproduce a reasonable number of copies for their own personal, non-commercial reference. All other reproduction, distribution, public display, transmission, or use to train any machine-learning model requires the school's prior written consent. Sharing live-program access credentials with another person is grounds for removal from the program without refund.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site and the Learning Management System only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, the Learning Management System, or any related infrastructure;
- Use any automated means to access, scrape, or copy course materials for redistribution, resale, or training a machine-learning model;
- Impersonate another person, share enrollment credentials, or take an assessment on behalf of another person;
- Submit material to discussion forums or to faculty that is unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes the rights of any third party.
Third-party links
The site and program materials may link to third-party resources (federal and state regulators, accrediting bodies, professional associations) for the convenience of the reader. The school does not endorse, sponsor, or guarantee the content or practices of those sites.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and the programs are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, currency, or non-infringement. The school does not warrant that the site or the LMS will be uninterrupted or free of error.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither HRT nor any of its faculty, employees, or agents shall be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, material published on the site or in any program. The school's aggregate liability for any claim relating to a program is limited to the tuition paid for that program. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms and any matter relating to them or to your use of the site or the programs shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts seated in Fulton County, Georgia, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such matter, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes
The school may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the head of these terms indicates when they were last revised. Your continued use of the site, or your re-enrollment, after a change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
